NeuroFascial Release Series with Stephen Myles Davidson, D.O. — Video Two

A patient had been trembling for forty years. One day Dr. Davidson rested a hand on her knee and it stopped.

He moved his hand away. The tremor returned. He moved it back. Stillness again.

That accidental moment became fifteen years of clinical development, and it became this paradigm. Not a technique to memorize, but a principle: the body will tell you where its release point is, if you know how to listen for the answer.

In this second video of the series, Dr. Davidson traces the evolution of osteopathic thought from operator-produced forces through muscle energy, counterstrain, fascial release, and the cranial concept, then shows you where neurofascial release fits in the lineage and why it reaches cases the other paradigms sometimes cannot.

What you’ll take into practice Monday morning:

  • A repeatable baseline exam built on Fulford’s parameters: iliac crest heights, hip rotation, spinal curves, arm abduction, cervical ranges, all read at tissue speed with attention to end feel
  • Strain recruitment: how to wind a parameter through the whole body so the key lesion declares itself
  • The search itself, taught the way a child finds a hidden toy. Warmer, colder, then the release
  • What the release actually feels like: the still point, symmetrical respiration, the melting of tissue tension, often inside ten to twenty seconds
  • Applications across passive strains, active strains, intraosseous warps in the femur, innominate, and sacrum, spinal divots, falx and tentorium tension, push and pull strains, and global toxic and mental-emotional themes
  • How to recognize gelling, the body’s signal that treatment is finished for the day

Every concept is demonstrated on live models with ranges of motion checked before and after, so you see the change rather than take it on faith. As Dr. Davidson puts it, you cannot see a treatment. You can only see its effects.

Nothing here hurts the patient. Most feel as though nothing was done at all, right up until you show them the tender point is gone.

75 minutes. $149.95. Immediate access through the members’ area, yours to revisit whenever you want.

This is not the be-all and end-all of treatment. It is one more arrow in your therapeutic quiver, and for the cases you have not been able to solve, it may be the one you have been missing.
